Notices to our own drivers about federally required DOT drug and alcohol testing and DOT physical examinations: that they have been selected or booked, where to attend, and a question asking whether they are going that day.
Only people currently employed as drivers by UTA Transportation, on the mobile number they gave the office. Drivers are told at hire that the office texts these notices, and consent is given when they provide that number.
Only when a driver is selected or booked - typically a few times a year. An unanswered notice is repeated once a day, between 7am and 6pm, until the driver answers or the office stops it.
We charge nothing for these messages. Message and data rates may apply from the driver's own mobile carrier.
Reply STOP to stop all messages to that number; reply HELP for help. The office can also be reached on (845) 709-7963. Opting out ends the texts only - the office will contact the driver another way about testing they are required to attend.
